A True Legend!!

On Friday the 17th of February 2006 our good friend Alan McDougal was involved in a fatal car accident. This is the most terrible time for all friends and family and anybody who had the pleasure of meeting or getting to know him. I have to apologise to anybody reading this message and finding out for the first time about this tragic accident.

I remember chatting with Doogs once sitting by a pool in Sidari - a conversation I'm sure all of us have had at one point or another with our close friends involving dying early and looking down on your own funeral just to see who turns up; Doogs in his Northern accent saying "I dont want them nuggets all cryin and shit at my funeral", then running and olympic diving into the pool! I guess that meant he would like peeps to stay happy.

There will be a funeral and wake in his home town of Hull, as yet the dates are unknown.

We used to call Doogs a legend.
I guess now he truly is.
